Climate AWEARness

Climate AWEAR.

What we wear, use, and keep shapes how we think and care.

Not decoration.
A way of noticing the world, made visible.

Gestures of hope about climate.
Worn. Used. Carried forward.

This work begins before product.

Drawings. Observations. Light, sound, texture.

An ongoing art and design practice, shaped by climate awareness.

Field Note

It came into focus outside.

A small group of us.
During the Tropical Audubon Ambassador Program, 2025.

Marsh. Sky. Distance.

Shark Valley in the Florida Everglades opens into distance. Fresh air. A long-paved loop through marsh and sky.

Clouds moved across the sky.
Their shadows drifted over the land
like slow manta rays crossing aqua water.

Everything felt open.
Clear.
Still.

I was wearing one of the earliest Green Religion T-shirts.
People noticed.
They said something.

Somewhere along the trail it clicked.

What I was wearing was not just clothing.
It was a signal.
Shared awareness in motion.

Climate AWEAR.

The phrase took hold in that moment.

Something I had been circling found its name.

Back in the studio, it found form.

That same week, I secured climateawear.com and climateawearness.com. Today, both quietly point back to Green Religion, held beneath the same canopy.

Not as slogans.

As markers.

Carried through people.

Alongside the living world.

The canopy stays open.
